Subject: Johnny's "Top Ten Tips for Winning at Foos" Date: Mon, 28 Jun 1999 02:28:00 GMT (EDITED) From: "Johnny" Newsgroups: rec.sport.table-soccer I been lurking on this newsgroup for a while and I thought it would be a good time to jump in and pass along a few tips. With all the talk about the mental part of the game, hear are a few ways to get the REAL edge..... #10. Always stare at the other forward when hes shooting. #9. Stall when the other player is waiting to drop....put your hands on the handles, than take them back off quickly. #8. Make a rude noise after every time you score. #7 when the other team scores, shake your head in disgust. #6 Throw the ball at the other team when its there serve. #5 When the other goalie makes a good shot, say "Let him hit one he was aiming at" #4 If the ball comes off the table and lands at your feet, kick it under the table to the other side. #3 Never grab the ball when its your serve and the other guy is handing it to you, adjust your men, clean the table...than snatch it. #2 If the other team asks about a rule violation, immedeatly demand a ref, than two, than argue with both of them for 15 minutes. #1 Dont show up until you are on recall, than show up & disappear again. Hope these help. If any of you newer players need any tips at Nationals, feel free to come up and ask me. See yall there, Johnny
