Unfortunately for this shot, good goalies would understand that with the ball that far to one side of the goal there's not much chance that you'd be able to hit the far side of the goal using the rollover, since typically a rollover shot only has a range of about 1/2 the goal. Therefore they would know not to cover that part of the goal, causing them to be able to block it easily. Then again, it might be good for a point or 2, since some goalies may give you the benefit of the doubt that you actually could shoot a rollover all the way across the goal; or may not realize that shooting all the way across the goal isn't very likely. (that's one of the advantage of a european style front pin shot - you CAN easily go all the way across the goal, which catches a lot of rollover defenders by surprise. Here's three more fun rollover style shots: 1) Try shooting a TWO MAN rollover - i.e., rocking it on the middle man like normal, but hitting it with one of the outside men. 2) Try a BACK PIN rollover - you can't go strait, but its still a fun shot to see and do. 3). Set the ball in a normal slide pull or slide push position, then with your wrist on the handle slide the ball sideways and hit it forward using a rollover motion.
